What Causes Insomnia While Taking Eptoin,Metformin And Amplopres?

my mother was diagnosed with ROSAI DORMAN disease a month ago, since than she has had surgery and the clot has been removed. before the surgery she had 3 epileptic fits and she fainted. we took her to the hospital and she was diagnosed with the disease. she suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes. she is 64yrs old. She has had high bp for the past 20 years and has taken homeopathy medication Rauvolfia and glutide sr 30 for diabetes. after the operation a month onwards she was given Eptoin 100 3 times a day and G1 metformin 2 times a day and Amplopres L 1 a day.natrilix SR one time a day. The problem she is having for the past one week is she is unable to sleep more than 2 hours a day, The doctor told her to take Zapiz .25 to help her sleep. She is still unable to sleep. Is there a possibility that these medicines are causing sleeplessness. Is Eption necessary as she has no medical history of epilepsy. Please advice

Hello,

Above drugs less likely cause insomnia. You may use Alprazolam 0.25 mg for five days after food. Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol. Eat tryptophan rich foods like milk, eggs and nuts. If symptoms have not improved, please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
