What Causes High Tsh Level?

My tsh levels came back at 19 and shows some antibodies but the tsh level has increased dramatically since being on 50 micrograms of levothyroxine - but about 6 months ago the endocrine specialist said I was euthyroid, so i am unsure why I have been given medication.

Hi

Can you share your most recent Free T3/T4 and TSH report. Can you also share your weight. I believe your thyroid dose is pretty low but can confirm it only if you tell me your weight and your current thyroid status.

Regards
Dr. Om Lakhani
Endocrinologist.
