Hello there, I really need advice regarding my father who is 61 years old, short height, used to be overweight most of his life but has lost all the weight in the last 7 years through a combination of diet, walking and suffering from diseases. He has been suffering from high blood pressure for more than 20 years and diabetes for about 10. For a couple years his glucose levels have been uncontrolable. He also suffers from cardio disease and had a baloon in valves 2 years ago. Last year he also had a prostrate problem but turned out not to be cancer. He has been taking drugs for blood pressure as well as diabetes for decades now. His recent lab test results show extremely high levels of micro albumin in urine, At the same time he has high levels of prostatic specific antigen and Hb A1C. However his creatinine level is within the range. He showed the result to his cardio specialist who advised that this is due to some heart problem rather than a kidney disease or failure. I would like to know what his result indicate and what is the probablity of the cause being heart related. Also what are the next steps and what could be done to prevent kidney failure and/or heart damage. Appreciate your response
