What Causes High Eosinophil Count?

Hi, my eosinophil count has been above a normal level since past one year. I also have breathing problems . I find it difficult to breathe through nose most of the time and use my mouth for the same. I feel I am allergic to dust as when I come in contact with it I start sneezing with runny nose. Recently my eosinophil count is showing 7.8%.is it harmful? Do I need any medication for it? My age is 30. Please advise.

hi, high eosinophil count may be due to many reasons. there are allergy, hypersensitivity, autoimmune disease, parasitic infection etc. you may have allergy or asthma. consult your doctor. if you thought that you have allergy go for sensitivity test. that will give you exact items against which you have allergy. then avoid them. if you have severe problems then you can take some steroids for that according to your doctors advice. go for that and take treatment accordingly.
thanks for using health care magic.
