What Causes Heaviness And Pain In Chest Post C-section?

Hi , I have had 2 c sections, one in 2001 & the other in 2008. To my surprise, I am now pregnant again and terrified of having a third c section. During my last c section I suddenly experienced a feeling of heaviness and pain in my chest towards the end. Do you jave any idead what may have caused it? The doc gave me additional meds to help and told metjat I would have very little memory of a period of time following them giving me the additional medication but it did take the pain and heaviness away.

Hi,
Thanks for posting a query in HCM.
Got your question. According to your description it seems that you underwent c section under spinal anaesthesia where an injection is given in the back to make the lower body numb. These types of symptoms are common during such procedures. They are not long lasting and they fade off as the effect of spinal wears of.Also it is not life threatening. So nothing to worry. If needed you can safely take spinal anaesthesia again in the future as it is not compulsory that such thing will be repeated again.
So, relax and feel free to ask if you have any more doubts.
thanks and take care.
