Hi, I am wondering what causes a woman s body temperature to drop after a C section birth? I delivered my son, second child, by C-section and in recovery my body temperature dropped, in fact so fast I had no idea what was happening until I woke up to warming blankets

Hypothermia(low body temperature) is quite common after a surgery and is due to the action of anaesthesia after effects. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself.
