What Causes Headache And Nose Bleed With Muscle Pain?

I was recently treated for a sinus infection. I finished my ten day antibiotic about a week ago. A couple of days ago the headache accompanied by upper teeth ache started again. My throat no longer hurts but I have a fever, frequent sneezing, runny nose, bad headache, teeth hurt, and my nose bleeds when I blow it? Also have achy muscles?

Hi.
I've gone through your query and I can understand your anxiety.

Your symptoms might be due to Classic Migraine or Sinusitis. Both conditions are accompanied by pain radiating to teeth & running nose ,sneezing watery eyes etc.

I advice you to,
- Check your BP to rule out Hypertensive crisis in case of nose bleeding
- Take analgesics like Naproxen + Triptans & Ergotamine +caffeine
- Avoid exposure to light, noise & also avoid blowing your nose.
- a course of antibiotics if needed
- tab. Vitamin C 500mg twice daily
- use Nasivion spray 2-3drops thrice a day
- Steam inhalation

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
