What Causes Hard, Crusty Lump On Lash Line After An Eye Infection?

Hi, I had an eye infection about a month ago and since then, I have had a lump on my lower lash line, at the point where my eye lash comes from. It's made up of about 3 small bumps all about the size of the end of a ball point pen which are white in colour and quite hard and crusty. As I was washing my face tonight, it started to bleed a tiny amount and is now red in colour and quite sore. I am not able to get it checked out as I am abroad for a month.
What is it and what shall I do?
Many thanks.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having hard lump on the eye lids along the lash line after suffering from eye infection.
This is because of inflammation of the glands of the eye lids leading to obstruction and accumulation of the secretions and resulting in lump.
The most common swelling is chalazion which is because of involvement of meibomian glands.
The treatment is by hot compression and use of antibiotic eye drops and antiinflammatory drugs.

Thank you
