Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern and would explain that the palpitations could be related to possible cardiac arrhythmia.

For this reason, I recommend performing an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring for possible cardiac arrhythmia and some blood lab tests (complete blood count for anemia, thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction, blood electrolytes for possible imbalance).

Regarding her glucose levels, she may have diabetes. For this reason, I would recommend performing HbA1C levels to check for diabetes. In case it is elevated, consulting with an endocrinologist is necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
