Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
Fluttering of heart could be abnormal arrhythmia ( Atrial Flutter or Fibrillation) or could be normal sinus arrhythmia (variation in heart rate with respiration).
So for diagnosis, you need to do ECG at the time of these fluttering. If its duration are short, we put a 24 hr ECG monitoring called Holter Monitor. Also do a 2D Echo to see for any associated cardiac abnormality, if any.
Thanks
