What Causes Feeling Hard Lumps Inside Breast?
Hey, I'm 15 and have one inverted nipple. I think I've always had it. There is sometimes a small amount of crusty stuff. Also, both my breasts are very lumpy, with large and small hard bits that I can push from side to side. I am overweight. I'm really worried :(

According to your description the possible causes of your problem are:
- Overweight can lead to excess fat deposits in the different parts of the body including breast tissue. Sometimes that can lead to the appearance of lumpy with the hard bits. Loss of moisture at nipple area can lead to crusts formation.
- Fibrocystic disease can present with this type of appearance.
- In elderly persons inverted nipple, with crusting of secretions, skin appearing thickened, etc. symptoms can be seen in inflammatory breast malignancy.
But this is a very rare possibility of your age group. By clinical examination and sonomammography the exact cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly. So, please consult your gynecologist and get examined. After examination if she advises, please undergo sonomammography.
