What Causes Fatigue And Chest Tightness With Even Small Amount Of Wine?
The day after I drink alcohol, even in small amounts (2-3 glasses of wine), I get fatigued and have chest tightness. I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and now use a CPAP machine. Today for example, I woke up after having 2.5 glasses of wine. My chest has been tight all day and I keep coughing, as if to catch my breath. Thoughts?
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Wine is alcohol and contains some ingredients which naturally induces acidity. In-spite of the quantity consumed, wine induces acidity. Acidity causes chest tightness and esophagus burning. You are also being anxious about your sleep apnea and the CPAP machine you use now.
Don't worry. As the cause is clear now, relax. Just concentrate on your day to day affairs and stop drinking wine for the time being for good.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
