What Causes Elevated HCG Level During Pregnancy?

3 weeks after miscarriage had a positive home pregnancy test. I took a blood test and it was 65. 3 days later I had follow up blood work and my HCG was at 76. What would cause this jump all of a sudden? I thought I ovulated a week and a half before and maybe got pregnant again. Is this a bad pregnancy again or HCG from first pregnancy? If so, why would it rise? I was only 6 weeks pregnant when I miscarried. I am so confused!

i would suggest you to take another beta hcg test after a week. this is from the previous pregnancy ..the value is way too less for considering a pregnancy. so repeat after 1 month to reconfirm.
