What Causes Dry Red Patch On The Lips?

I ve had a dry, flakey, red patch on my upper lip for some time now. I tried aloe and it helped a little but it still comes back. It also seems to be moist yet flakey. Not sure if that makes sense. Also, I ve had a similar issue on my neck, however not as bad as my upper lip.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case history of dry lips, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good lip balm.
2. Take a good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk.
3. Apply a kenacort oral paste twice a day on the affected region.

If the problem persists then consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
