Yes my husband is taking Amox TR-K CLV 875-125 MG TAB----he is having a funny feeling in his throat and just feels his heart beat there. He has bronchitis and the other meds he took he was done with and he seemed better then it came back again--so his Dr. put him on this Amox. He also has AFIB from a reaction to one of his diabetic meds he took yrs. ago. So he has to be very careful. I had him take a Benadryl just incase he is having a reaction to this medication. Should I be worried. Paula
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history related your husband taking Amox TR-K Clav 875-125, having funny feeling in the throat and having funny feeling in there, has bronchitis. He had Afib due to some reaction to the diabetic medicines hence all the extra precautions to be taken. You are keeping benedryl ready for any such emergency. Amoxy-clav as such is not known to cause any discomfort in the throat. The possible problems may be the real throat problem and can be diagnosed well or proper clinical examination preferably by an ENT Surgeon. Continue Amox, add on the suitable anti-inflammatory medicine and see the result. You may get a complete relief although some times can take more time and any allergy can cause enhancement of the present symptoms.
