What Causes Discomfort And Choking In Throat?

HELLO, I AM EXPERIENCING A CLICKING IN MY THROAT AS I TRY TO SWALLOW FOOD OR MEDICATION, I HAVE AN UNDER ACTIVE THYROID, & THE TINY TABLETS REMAIN IN MY THROAT & DISSOLVE VERY SLOWLY AS DOES SOME PIECES OF FOOD, ALSO THIS PROBLEM IS NOW HURTING IF I TRY TO SWALLOW WATER OR MY OWN SALIVA AS MY THROAT VERY DRY, OR IF I DON T SIT UP STRAIGHT & KEEP MY NECK VERY STRAIGHT, THIS HAS ONLY STARTED TWO WEEKS AGO, AS I TURNED OVER GETTING OUT OF BED ONE MORNING & I FELT AS THOUGH I HAD PULLED A MUSCLE IN MY THROAT.CAN YOU PLEASE ADVISE, ON THIS PROBLEM I AM HAVING. I have read your query . As far as discomfort and choking in throat is concerned this can be due to strep throat . For this I will suggest you to consult Ent surgeon for clinical examination and treatment . Inmeantime do warm saline gargle 2 to 3 times a day and you can take medication like Azithromycin with Allegra by consulting with local doctor .
