What Causes Diarrhea While Taking Amox Tr-k Clv?

I am currently taking an antibiotic for an acute sinus infection, it is called AMOX TR-K CLV, I have only taken 3 capsules so far and I have major dirreah. I know that one of the side effects said it could possibly give the patient dirreah, but I was wondering if it would help for me to eat yogurt or take a probiotic to lessent the dirreah. It is helping my sinus infection, but I am suppose to take it for 14 days, and really don't want to have this major dirreah for that long.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the given history and the symptoms are suggestive of antibiotic induced diarrhea and it may not need any treatment but it is the self limiting condition, probiotic some time helps and it can be tried, but more important is to stop the antibiotic if it is not indicated, sinusitis may not be due to bacterial infection but it could be allergic condition hope this information helps.
