What Causes Diarrhea, Persistent Pain In Lower Back/tailbone/buttock During Pregnancy?

I am 28wks and 3 days pregnant. I have been experiencing persistent backaches and two days ago I felt a sharp shooting pain in my lower back. That same night I experienced my first and so far only Braxton Hicks contraction. The pain is more in my tailbone/ buttocks area. Today I have diarrhea. Is this signs of preterm labor?

hi thanks for writing to us
do you have any associated symptoms like increased urination, any discharge per vaginum, fever associated vomiting
based on your present history there is possibility of having a gastroentetritis, urinary tract infection, pain in tail region can also be due to lumbosacral strain
how are your fetal movements?
based on the history you have given there is a need for abdominal examination whether there are real contractions ,to see position of the fetus, urine needs to be screened for infection
