What Causes Constant Tingling Sensation And Numbness In Legs, Hands And Abdomen?

I have been feeling a numbness in my legs, hands and abdominal region and upper back for the last two days. It gets worse when i stand and walk around. Is this a neurological or blood ciculation related problem? There is a constant tingling feeling in the mentioned parts of my body.

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, it can be due to neuropathies and must be evaluated on the detailed motor and sensory examination of both upper and lower limbs.

Meanwhile, metabolic causes with serum electrolytes, sugar and thyroid levels must be evaluated.

Also, a common cause is B12 and folic acid deficiencies and if so replacement may be needed. Rarely nerve conduction studies will be needed.

It's better to get a neurologist review for narrowing down the possibilities.
