What Causes Congestion, sinus Issues And Cough?

I am 22 years old. About three weeks ago my ability to hear in one ear went away (like a clogged feeling) due to what I later found out was congestion and sinus issues, it affected my throat as well. The doctor recommended Sudafed. Within the last week however it has gotten worse. I have been feeling very weak and tired. I have a horrible chest cough my throat hurts terribly, I have had a headache for the past 3 days and again it is hard to hear. What is this? Please help

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it appears to be due to the cold, sinusitis, pharyngitis, and infection of the internal ear, causing hearing loss.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylephrine, citrizine, and paracetamol.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, icewater, icecream etc to avoid allergy.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
