What Causes Clogged Ear With Pain?
Hi I have had this pain in my ear for several days and within the last 2 days it has gotten muffled and clogged and feels like I may have an ear infection I have had these same symptoms in the past but don t know if it is another ear infection or not. I have a hearing loss in both ears so don t want to lose anymore of my hearing due to this if i wait any longer. Is it possible if i do have one that they can prescribe me antibiotics orally vs. drops. I do not handle well things being put in or down my ear. Thanks

There are many causes that may lead to such but in my opinion this may be due to impacted wax. Try some wax dissolvents but it will be better to get it examined before intervention.
