chest pain post Verapamil intake is a common thing. So there is no need to worry a lot.
Verapamil is a calcium channel blockers which relaxes blood vessels so blood can flow easily. Verapamil is generally used to treat
high blood pressure (helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems), prevent chest pain (angina) and control
heart rate (atrial
fibrillation).
Any drug will be having side effects. Similarly verapamil will be having side effects. The common side effects of dizziness, chest pain,
constipation, nausea, headache.
You can follow the below thing for better action of drug.
1. exercising,
2. stopping smoking,
3. eating a low-cholesterol/low-fat diet.
4. Store the drug away from light and moisture
You can go for following tests to rule out any other cause
1. ECG
2. COMPLETE BLOOD PICTURE
3. Troponin-I
