What Causes Chest Pain Along With Numbness On The Arms And Jaws?

I am a 43 yo female with no cardiac hx. Yesterday I experienced chest pain, left arm numbness and jaw pain. This distribution of pain has occured before but last night it was more long standing. I went to the ER and the EKG and cardiac enzymes were normal. The doctor suggested I follow up with a cardiologist early next week. Any ideas?

yes ,having chest pain with arm and neck radiation suggest Ischemic cardiac pain,even if u have normal EKG OR cardiac enzyme. in up to 30%cases these may be normal witj acute coronary syndrome so important and sincere advice is to consult cardiologist. and need further evaluation in form of stress test either with TMT or Dobutamine Echo.
better is to take aspirin 300mg tab. and consult earliest possible.
