What Causes Chest Pain After Drinking Beer?

Yesterday I took a couple of gulps of Michelob Light Beer and then had such crushing cest pain that I had I had to sit because I felt I was going to pass out from the pain, it insentified and I was in so much pain that I wanted to lay down so I wouldn't get hurt fainting. I finally was able to get up and go to bed for about 20 mins or so. My question is,: why is that kind of pain so intense and is it truly dangerous of I am just a baby? I am a almmost 56yr ol woman

By your history and description, possibility of acute gastritis due to beer ingestion is more.
But better to rule out heart diseases related chest pain because you are post menopausal woman and heart diseases are common in this age group.
So get done ecg and 2d echo.
If both are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Avoid beer ingestion.
Take proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
But better to first rule out heart diseases.
