What Causes Blurred Vision While Having Thyroid Problems?

i have had a thyroid problem since i was 13 now i am 51 lately my vision is blurry and i never had eye problems before my vision has always been 20 20 what could be wrong i have to hold the news paper or anything else im reading far away just to read and sometimes it is still blurry

Thyroid problems can lead to a variety of eye problems and these group of diseases are called as thyroid ophthalmoplathy.
In thyroid ophthalmopathy the eye involvement shows proptosis, decreased blinking of the eyes, dryness of the eyes....
But your symptoms of blurred vision to read the news paper indicates age related presbyopia. This requires correction by use of near vision glasses.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
