What Causes Blood Pressure, Heart Rate To Drop For Brain Aneurysm Patient?
My 80 year old father had a brain aneurysm coiled march 19. He has recently been released and was improving with a variety of therapists that visit our home. Friday his blood pressure dropped dramatically and his heart rate dropped to 40 bpm. He was rushed to the hospital and the ct scan and enzyme tests showed no new strokes, etc. We just brought him home again a few hours ago and he is hallucinating. Can you give me some idea of why this might be? Is it a normal healing process or something we should attend to immediately? He has a doctor appt. coming up and we will definitely ask about it, but I am curious now.
