What Causes Blood In Stool After Having Sex?

I had sex with a guy twice almost two weeks ago. The second time I felt pain and I went to the restroom shortly after he left and as I was using the restroom I noticed I had blood on me and I bled a lot in the toilet like if I was on my period. So I just thought maybe it was that so I cleaned up and went to go back to bed and barely made it to the bathroom because I felt like I was going to pass out. So I took a Tylenol and went to bed I woke up hours later and I had started to stop bleeding. Then it just stopped. Is that normal?

Hello,

It is important to figure out where the blood is coming from (vagina, rectum, or bladder). If you had rectal intercourse that can cause trauma and result in bleeding.

Bleeding from your rectum is not normal and you should see your doctor. It could be something as benign as hemorrhoid, a fissure (small tear), but bad things like tumors and cancer should be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
