What Causes Blocking In The Ears And What Is The Treatment?
hello doctor Samuel I have problem for the last year I consulted otorhinolaryngology doctor and had an mri and brain scan just to tell me that they couldn t find anything wrong with my ears . last year in may I woke up one day and my ears were blocked as if I just landed ever since then I had the same feeling every day 24 hours a day . I need a solution to my problem but so far no one can give me one your advise could be the most welcome thank you

As per your query you have blocked ears . Well there can be many reasons for blocked or heaviness in ears like :-
- Eustachian tube blockage or dysfunction .
- Ear infection ( otitis media ) .
- Endolymphatic hydrops .
I wold suggest you to consult ENT specialist or otolaryngologist for proper examination and to find out exact cause . Doctor may examine ear with an instrument known as otoscope and also order other test to confirm the diagnosis and treatment . For noe try to keep your ear dry and give hot and dry compresses to external ear . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics and expectorants .
