What Causes Bleeding After Getting Pregnant?

hi! i just found out i am pregnant 6 days ago, yesterday i started to experiance light vaginal bleeding, went to the er and they did an ultra sound. and said they cannot see the baby yet. so they dont know whether it's a normal pregnancy or not. now i have to see a dr tomorrow to find out if my hcg levels are going up. im not having any pain. wondering if the baby is ok or not. i have had 1 normal pregnacy before, no complications, and full term. im 23, 5'8'' 200lbs

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion as it is early pregnancy fetal pole might not have formed still to be seen in ultrasound.So I suggest you to repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks.The bleeding might be due to hormonal imbalance like thyroid abnormalities or progesterone insufficiency.Also get evaluated for the causes.
