What Causes Back Pain Affecting Legs?

Hi,
I am an older woman from I am told I have a back problem which is affecting my legs big time. I feel it could be my hip even though I have back problems. It is mostly on my left side. I have had an MRI of my back so far need to get another opinion.

Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Your symptoms are caused by hip and lumbar arthritis.
Another probability is that you suffer from sciatic neuritis, that is caused by a herniated disc.

To determine the diagnosis you need:
1. Lumbar Ct-scan.
2. Complete blood count.
3. Fibrinogen test.
4. Urine test.
