What Causes Anxiety Attacks During Pregnancy?

I been having anxiety attacks since May 13th,2011. I am about 5wks pregnant and wondering what harm can it do to my unborn baby? I havent been able to eat much as I throw up...not sure if its due to the anxiety or just the pregnancy. my stomach feels as its in a knot all the time. only at times it releases and im able to get something down.

Dr. Purushottam welcomes you to HCM virtual clinic!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully gone through your case, and I think I have understood your concern. I will try to address your medical concerns and would suggest you the best of the available treatment options.
I will suggest you to start using Tab. Doxinate half hour before meals.
Do not remain empty stomach for more than 3 hours. Have small, frequent feeds.Try to remain calm, by meditation. Please do not panic about baby's health.
All these things are due to hormonal changes that happen due to pregnancy.
I hope my answer helps you.
Thanks.
