Hi,

Yes, according to your history there is the possibility of infection. Fever, edematous labia with pain, ulcers like white spots are pointing more towards infection, possibly herpes genitalis. But by direct clinical examination only the exact cause of the problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.

Please consult your gynecologist once, get examined and take treatment accordingly. In case of herpes, antiviral medicines, analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs can help to reduce the symptoms. Abstinence should be maintained till the complete recovery to prevent transfer of infection.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
