What Causes An Increase In The TSH During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 2 months pregnant and my TSH is 8.77

I have my appointment with Gynic today evening. But meanwhile just want to check if 8.77 is concernable? I remember taking thyroid test some time ago and noticed it was perfectly normal. What made this TSh go high all of a sudden. please help.

Hormonal imbalance will be seen during pregnancy.Baby mental development depends on thyroid hormones.You need to be monitored regularly for TSH throughout ur pregnancy.Dont think too much about this.Just relax nothing will happen wrong.k.
