What Causes Abdominal Pain,lower Back Pain And Spotting?

I had an sonogram/ultrasound of my abdomen. The results showed a dark mass on the left side about the size of maybe a silver dollar. The doctor of course wants to put me under and do a few procedures while I am out. He will be performing a cervical biopsy,ecc,d&c,hysteroscopy,colposcopy and one more that I can not remember at the moment. I ve also tested positive for HPV. I am due for this surgery on march 17th,2014. I thought I was going through menopause,my last cycle was October 2013. For the past two days I ve been having really bad abdominal pain, seeriing lower back pain and I ve been spotting and passed some clotty red blood. I was just wondering if this is being caused by the thing found in my uterus or the hpv or maybe I am not starting to go through menopause yet.

I understand your concerns. The dark mass on left side is exactly where ? On which organ ? If you can tell me it will help. Yes, the spotting, back pain could be due to something near your uterus or can be due to hpv also. I will advise you to undergo the procedures which you mentioned as they will help to get a definitive diagnosis and based on which you can be treated accordingly.
