Some times, the progesterone dominant birth control pills may lead to reduction in sexual desire. They may lead to the dryness of vagina also.
However, if you are on these pills for some time and have not experienced low sexual drive, they may not be responsible.
The condition for which you are taking Dayquil itself is a minor illness. In any illness, the sexual desire drops down. Even the anticongestant medicines from dayqil will also bring down your libido.
Please have patience and get rid of the worry. You are young, and will get over this problem once you are healthy again.
Please try to scrupulously check the composition of birth control pills and their effect on libido.
