What Causes A Liquid Secretion In The Chemical Burn Area?
one week ago i got a chemical burn from chlorine bleach....i am in the jungle far from a doctor so i washed it with running water and put fresh aloe vera from a plant i have and neosporine on it....next day it was extremely red and beginning to secret a liquid...so i put an antibiotic on it that looks like iodine called "rifasan" in portuguese and neosporine and bandaged it.....then i foolishly did some work around the house that involved lifting and moving things around....needless to say day three it was swollen extremely red and seemed to be burning more....i washed with running water for 30 minutes repeated the treatment and let it be for the rest of the week....the redness and swelling has gone away but it continues to secret liquid and the raw area seems to be getting larger...i just heard from a neighbor about egg whites and applied some...do you have any other advice....
