What Caused A Dull Headache And A Painful Bloodshot Eye?
I have a bp reading of 192/100, have suffered persistent hypertension for a while which is currently under monitoring.I am Female aged 48.foe the past 24 hrs I have experienced a dull headache and a painful bloodshot eye.what could be the cause and is this a precursor to anything.I am currently on medication foe hypertension.

It seems from the history that you are having high blood pressure, headache and blood shot eye.
The blood shot eye is subconjunctival hemorrhage as a result of bleeding under conjunctiva because of a broken blood vessel as a result of high blood pressure. This foes not require treatment and it will resolve by 2-3 weeks.
You need yo control blood pressure by taking treatment.
