What Can Be Done For Osteroarthritis In Ribs?

I have been told that i have osteoarthritis in my ribs. around the clavical area. well this causes my muscles to knot and go into spasms. it laso moves around from front left chest goes to my neck and also goes to my upper back area... i was wondering what can be done for this?

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having osteoartheritis in your cervical spines as well giving rise to these symptoms.
Go for x-ray of cervical spines.
Go for physiotherapy, short way disthermy and if require go for cervical traction.
Avoid putting pilow under your neck.
Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Ok and take care.
