Hello there,
Please do not ignore your symptoms as while being on methimazole you could develop severe reduction in Some wbc which could be producing these symptoms.
stop your methimazole if you have fever or sore throat and get a CBC test and visit your endocrinologist as soon as possible. Do not ignore this.
Also check your TSH now and let your endocrinologist review your dose.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
