What Are The Symptoms Of Mirena ?
Hi, i am 25 years old and aftee having my second child i had the mariena iud put in place about 6 months ago. These past few months i have noticed a change in my periods as they are increasingly dark coloured and in brown clots and a paste like discharge at the beginning of each period. Is this normal with the mirena?

It can be due to secondary infections due to Mirena device. You can consult a gynecologist and check whether the Mirena is misplaced or not. If symptoms are severe or in case of misplaced Mirena, it has to be removed and reinserted.
