What Are The Side Effects Of Vaginal Hysterectomy, For Prolapsed Uterus, On Bladder Walls?

Hi, I just want to know what is the percentage of having problem with my bladder wall after having a vaginal hysterectomy? I have a prolapse uterus and my Doctor recommended the vaginal hysterectomy or a plastic ring to put in the vagina but I have to remove it every 6 weeks to clean it which method do you recommend?

Dear member,
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
I would recommend the surgery as it corrects the deformities but the plastic ring is temporary and may sometime cause vaginal ulcer.
The bladder wall is strengthened during surgery. So side effects are minimal in a well executed surgery.
