What Are The Side Effects Of Acitrom Tablets?
In 2007, after delivery I got DVT in my left leg. I was on wafrein tablet. In 2010 January Dr. asked me to stop the medicine, then in july 2010 again I got pain in my leg and I am asked to take 5 mg acitrom tablet for life long. I want to know the side effect of this tablet and is there any precaution to avoid the side effect.

Possible serious side effects include
an allergic reaction
difficulty breathing,closing of the throat
swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives
unusually heavy menstrual periods
sudden leg or foot pain
purple discoloration of the toes or fingers
osteoporosis
Ulcer especially leg ulcers
Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur.
excessive gas or bloating;
diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting
If you experience any of the above ,stop acitrom and talk to your doctor
keep regularly monitoring your PT INR levels
