General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As you've had sex on the second day of your period, there is no way you can get pregnant. There was no need to take I-Pill. Every drug has its side effects and so i-pill also has few but it is not going to harm you, although it may disrupt your normal menstrual cycle.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
