What Are The Reasons For Getting Rapid Heartbeats, Tight Pain In Chest And Having Feeling Of Fainting?

I am getting a period of about 15 minutes of rapid heartbeats. I feel as if I am going to faint when they first start, (but I haven t fainted yet). I get a tight pain in my chest afterwards. I try holding my breath to stop the fast beating, and this sometimes works.

Hi i read your query very carefully.

Your symptoms seems to be related with paroxysmal supra ventricular tachycardia. How ever i suggest consulting a cardiologist.

I recommend to run the following examinations:
- ECG
