What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Intercourse In Between Periods?

i'm 18yrs old..my boyfriend wanted to have sex today.i am on my 3rd day of my menstrual cycle.v did use a condom.but v r both new to all this.we are afraid something might happen.v dont want me to b pregnant.v seriously regret this.can u please tell wat d chances are of pregnancy?my periods usually last for 7 days.

Hi.
There is no reason to worry.
The first week of menstrual cycle (counting from first day bleeding) is safe period. You don't get pregnant if you have sex during this time. so relax.

If you wish to avoid pregnancy I would advise you to discuss with your doctor and go on regular contraception like birth control pills/patches/rings. You can even have a copper intrauterine devise fitted. They are more than 99% effective in preventing pregnancy.

Please practice safe sex. Use condoms to protect from sexually transmitted diseases.
