What Are The Chances Of Normal Delivery When Cord Is Around The Baby Neck?
hi doctor am 9mnth preganent, 38 weeks running i have done scanning and it says cord is around the neck am really worried what shall i do can i leave it untill i get delivery pain and wait for normal delivery or shall i do operation. am just concern about my baby is there is any chance of removing cord around the nck from baby or else getting normal deliver

Hi, i can understand your concern but you dont worry at all. cord around neck is not major concern. you can wait for labour pain to get started till 40 weeks .If no pain induction of labour can be done no need of elective caesarean section for that. baby heart rate should be monitored with CGT machine during labour.
