Weird Sensation In Tongue, Feels Like Swelling, Bumps On Tongue, Itchy. Any Ideas?

My tongue has been feeling weird for the last few weeks. Sides feel soar and uncomfortable on the sides. I can feel the slight swelling the sides but can't see it. There are also small bumps on the top of the back of my tongue that I can feel. It's a bit itchy at times and the back of my tongue looks a little whitish. What's happening??
