my daughter is student had a lh ovarian cyst from laparascopy cyst was removed, doctor advice take familon tablet for six month fast week she had periods keep on continuosly few days. and that above tablet could she continue ? is this tablet any side effect ? please advice ,,, donna .

Femilon is a birth control pill with very good safety profile. Intermittent bleeding and prolonged periods can be the side effect of Femilon. It is nothing to be worried about and will eventually subside. So please continue the pill as advised.
