Vomiting, Nausea, Pain In The Place Of Uterus. History Of Hysterectomy To Remove Endometrial Cancer Cells With Uterus Removal. Thoughts?
hello....I am 5 months post-op from a laparoscopic hysterectomy to remove edometrial layer cancer cells and my cervix was removed along with my uterus. my ovaries are still with me. I am having issues working. I am a shift manager at a fst food restaurant so i run around lots but i was always able to handle it....not since returning though. I literally vomit and stay nauseous after working especially the next day. I have pains and aches where my uterus once was on a daily basis. any thoughts on what i can do to get through this? i have already decreased my hours at work
Hi, Thanks for the query. Usually after undergoing hysterectomy in two to three months complete cure can be expected. Because of possible adhesions some amount of abdominal pain can be seen. But as you are having nausea, vomitings etc better to get investigated once. Consult gynecologist, get examined and go for one ultrasound. This can rule out any underlying cause, then you can go for symptomatic treatment. Take care.
