Very Light, Short Periods 2 Weeks Ago Followed By Pain In Lower Back, Dark Brown Spotting. Any Ideas?

I had a very light strange period 2 weeks ago it lasted four days one very light day one some what heavy was gone the third day and light and ended.my periods are normal and usually last five heavy days.so today my lower back has been hurting .I noticed today some spotting only when I wiped was dark brown in color what could this be..

Hi,
- You have not mentioned about your menstrual cycle. Were you due 15 dats back & had scanty flow then?
If that's the case, possibility is,you had implantation bleeding 15 days back , The pregnancy is weak, & it turned out to be thretand abortion.( so you had present symptoms of back ache & brown discharge.
- 2nd possibility is irregular menses which may be due to premenopausal, hormonal imbalance,some uterine/ ovarian problem.
* in any case a good examination, investigations(as per need),& assessment will lead to the solution.
You should consult a Gynecologist for the same.
